I know that there are plenty of real street dudes in Hip-Hop….

I also know that there are a bunch of phonies!  Without getting into it too much…Hip-Hop is starving for something different.  I mean, rappers don’t have to, and shouldn’t try to be what they are not.  Look at Eminem, who is one of the best!  Pharell…they didn’t come out and follow suit 100%. You don’t have to either!

As long as you make good music, you will have an audience!  You do have to make your efforts to maximize revenue, but other than that, it’s really not that hard to develop a following.  Especially with the internet and places like SoundClick.com, Myspace.com, and Reverbnation.com. So….

Basically, do you!  It is the only thing that will help you in the long run…..
