Ok…so I want to know where and how it is legal to turn something that is clearly a civil issue, such as not returning a leased Bentley by it’s expiration date, into a criminal issue like grand theft auto?

If anything, not returning a leased vehicle by the contract’s expiration date is a breach of contract. Somehow, hip-hop super producer Scott Storch has been charged with grand theft auto for keeping a leased Bentley too long.

When I first saw the headlines, I was thinking ‘publicity stunt’ too!!! But this is pretty dumb. This is one of those situations where Biggie was talking about ”Mo Money, Mo Problems!” Because we know that this wouldn’t have been turned into a criminal issue if it wasn’t someone of Scott Storch’s status……
