Weekly Hip-Hop Billboard 200 Update…..
As I was checking the Billboard 200 rankings this week, I was so sure that there was going to be another change up, but of course, when you expect it, it doesn’t happen. JadaKiss is still our leader which is a great thing! WHY? Because it shows that a rap artist can still be popular by not following “what’s hot” at the moment. The biggest shame is when an old rapper tries to rap exactly how these new rappers do. So, I’m pullin’ for The Last Kiss to stay in the lead for a minute. Flo Rida’s R.O.O.T.S. ranks 2nd this week at #21 with UGK 4 Life behind him at #28. T.I.’s Paper Trail came in at #32 this week, only dropping 2 spots, while Kanye West’s 808’s & Heartbreak gained some ground this week and has popped back up in the top 5 hip-hop albums on the Billboard 200 chart. Not as many albums as last week, but it could be worse!
