I’ve written posts about THE STASH SPOT before…An independent group of individuals that give average everday artists, actors, writers, etc…an opportunity to get some TV exposure.
With just 2 more episodes left in the first season, and things seeming to become much more upscale, I wanted to give an opportunity for you all to be able to tap in as well. They can film and air your commercial ads for VERY CHEAP! If you already have a commercial or something appropriate for basic late night TV, message them. They will work with your budget to make it happen…..IF YOU AREN’T ABLE TO DO ANYTHING BY THIS WEEKS END…DON’T WORRY. SEASON 2 BEGINS IN OCTOBER!
This group of young people give average everyday people like you and me, a chance to be seen and heard on TV. They Do Music Video’s, Commercials, and other TV media related things cheaper than EVERYONE ELSE! Get At Them….
Throughout hip-hop’s history, it’s usually been about the underdog, and the little guys beating the big guys. With that said, I wanted to take this time big up Las Vegas’ “Stash Spot TV!”
Here you have little guys getting together with a bunch of other little guys, and banning together to do something bigger than your average people who have a dream to get on TV and be seen by the public or heard by the public. These guys have created opportunities for the music industry in the Las Vegas area. NOT just for hip-hop either. For ALL genres of music.
Raw Scale Entertainment have put together shows throughout the valley as well as made affordable muisc video, TV commercial, etc. available to average people who don’t necessarily have deep pockets. All Those
Hip-hop appreciates people who do things like Raw Scale Ent has done and is doing for hip-hop and for music in general with “The Stash Spot“.
BIG-UPS TO STASH SPOT TV, RAW SCALE ENTERTAINMENT, AND AFFISHUL RECORDS.DON’T MISS “THE STASH SPOT” ON VEGAS TV CHANNEL 14 SATURDAYS @11PM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I’ve seen some crazy battles in hip-hop. Most of them were lopsided. The others were like 2 NBA teams within a point of each other, with 10 seconds left in the game.
Serius Jones is mostly known for his slaughtering of Jin Tha Emcee on Fight Klub. I have to admit, I was a witness to that broadcast, and I didn’t think Serius had a chance, but he rolled right over Jin.
Anyway, after witnessing many of his manslaughterings on Fight Klub and other venues, I’ve come up with the best single round that Serius Jones battled in. Now when I say best single round, I’m also saying that his opponent actually challenged him in the round and in the battle overall. So without further or due, it’s the Fight Klub Overtime round between Serius Jones and Big Ace……
Nick Cannon has been a very peaceful person throughout his career. Celebrities probably have to deal with some of the harshed comments, compliments, and insults of all people living. Most celebs keep their thoughts regarding these kind of harsh words to themselves. Mostly because they don’t want to offend other people. At the same time celebrities are real people and they have feelings just like us all.
Apparently, some blogger pissed off Nick Cannon and he decided not to keep quiet about it. So now this person talking all wreckless in the beginning feels threatened? People come up with some bullsh*t sometimes. At any rate, here is Mr. Nick Cannon keepin’ it real!
Of all the young people that T.I. has tried to help on his Road to Redemption, Donald is one of the one’s who seemed to have appreciated what T.I. was doing for him the most. There’s nothing like a youngster who is genuinely appreciative of the things that their elders do for them.
Every week, what T.I. is doing sinks in a little bit more, and it’s what many people in need think about when it comes to wealthy people. They waste what could change our lives. How many out there offer direct help? And I’m not talking about their charities. I’m talking about middle class people that just need a boost of some sort ya know!
P. Diddy was on Ellen on Tuesday, talking about his Twitter and how he uses it! I don’t pass judgement on Diddy, though he isn’t my favorite guy in the industry, I can do nothing but respect someone who spreads positivity, and seeing this video I myself am inspired. He said that he sent a message to his Twitter followers, saying, “If you are chasing your dream, you aren’t running fast enough!” That gave me personally a huge motivation boost this morning! Diddy also commented on Chris and Rihanna using his Florida residence to reconcile. It’s crazy how, other people in the industry got ripped to shreds by other industry people for negative things they’ve done, but EVERYONE is keeping their mouths closed about this Chris & Rihanna situation. I guess good thing to remember is that, it’s in GOD’s Hands!
Not really an update to the 50 Cent - Rick Ross situation, but as I was browsing the Net, I came across this weird video. The video is a cartoon and features the faces of a number of well known people in Hip Hop. It’s good that artists are being more creative nowadays with the belittling of their rivals. The whole “Fuck So and So! He’s a straight bitch” is so dry that some Hip Hop fans just started giving up on this genre. Way too much repetition! When is the last time we heard a new artist that set themselves apart from the average rapper? At any rate, here’s the little entertaining cartoon…
I was skeptical when the show was only being advertised. I used to be involved pretty strongly with gangs myself coming up, and was thinking to myself that nothing anyone was able to tell me back then, would have made me want to change my life for the better. So what different could T.I. possibly do to make a difference in the lives of these troubled youngins? Then again, I think about how much of an icon T.I. is to these young men and if say, Tupac, just showed up at my house to try talking me out of gang life, he may have made a great deal of impact in my life as well! I like seeing guys who could lead a street army, do positive things! It’s very motivating!
VH1 is coming out with a show called Storytellers where artists perform some of their works then comment on their song afterward. Of course we know that Kanye West had some outlandish shit to say when it came time for commenting….
He commented on Micheal Phelps, Chris Brown, O.J. Simpson, a bunch of people that hip hopsters have been real unusually quiet about. Unfortunately, Kanye went off on a tangent as we usually expect him to, and many of his commenting and they edited out most of the juicy stuff. Storytellers debuts on Saturday. Kanye is an awesome performer! Everyone check it out!
Everyone knows Jennifer Hudson….originally from American Idol. She was cheated out of the American Idol title, but she is even more famous than whoever won American Idol that season.
Unfortunately, this amazing woman lost her loved ones, in a very tragic way. In a fashion that would make a person want to crawl into a corner and never come out again…….What does this have to do with Hip-Hop you ask……
Rappers always talk about how they’re going to kill a person, this way, and that way….and I just want to say that, most of these guys wouldn’t bust a grape in a fruit fight. I mean, look at Lil Wayne…..On Tha Carter III he says, “Where I’m from you’re nobody til you kill somebody…” And on another track, he says, “They say what up killa, man stop bringin’ up my past!”
But on Like Father, Like Son, he says, “And I ain’t never killed no one jack/ But I’m honest, bitch I promise, I’ll kill ya and that’s a fact.” Fake! Fake! Fake! Fake!
We need to stop pushing and promoting this kind of bullshit! People lives get ruined by it. We should only fear the One who can kill both body and spirit….and that’s GOD! Glad to see that, this kind of tragic incident hasn’t stopped Jennifer from blessing us with her beautiful voice……Here is her Super Bowl 43 performance…..
In the past few years, music fans have been much more accepting of their favorite artists going moving into other forms of entertainment. In Hip-Hop, if we go back 12 years and think about rappers who were in movies and TV show’s, there are only a hand full of rappers who’s record sales did not suffer due to their involvment with TV and Film. Rappers like Tupac Shakur, LL Cool J, and Ice Cube seem to have been the only rappers that could still sell after showing their acting skills. Nowadays, it’s a frenzy! Rappers are in movies, TV sit-coms, Reality TV shows…it’s crazy! One of the BEST on-screen rappers of all time is Snoop Dogg. If Uncle Snoop wasn’t a rap artist, he could very well be a comedian! His show Fatherhood is some of the best TV I’ve seen as of late. I was skeptical at first, but have been hooked ever since I got to sit down and watch a full episode. Snoop, when you retire from rap, please continue to bless us with your on screen presence. Thanks!
